If the measure fails, the City would be

forced to return to spending limits that are 45 years old. 

 

That would require the city to cut more than $2 billion from Phoenix’s budget and devastate essential services such as police and fire, water, parks, and street maintenance.

PROP 488

Vote Yes on Prop 488 allows Phoenix to enact the City Council’s General Plan. ​

 

The City Council’s General Plan provides guidance for development, conservation and infrastructure investments. The General Plan includes no changes to land use, zoning or taxes.
